If you’re offered a job in another state or even just far enough away from your current home that you can’t stay in it, there is much to consider. First of all, you have to consider whether or not you really want to take the job. In many cases the answer is a resounding yes, as this new job will offer a tremendous amount of opportunity at the end of the day, opening up an entire world of possibilities. Of course, this will also mean changing your life considerably, as moving in and of itself can be a hugely stressful process.
When you have to move with little notice, things can become a bit complicated. You might have to figure out how to sell your home or break your current lease. You’ll also need to find a new place to live. If your new job starts soon, fitting all of these things into a short span of time can feel quite impossible indeed. Fortunately, corporate housing can help to make this period of transition as stress free as is truly possible (though some stress is, of course, quite normal indeed, all things considered).
Corporate apartments are quite popular all throughout the country, providing short term apartment lodgings to many people moving for jobs of all kinds. In fact, very nearly half of all people who use these corporate apartments (around 40% of them, to be just a bit more specific) will do so as part of the process of relocating for a job. In addition to this, the industry for corporate lodgings and short term housing has been growing consecutively for the last few years, reaching the fourth consecutive year of growth back in the year of 2016. In the years that are ahead of us, this is an industry that is likely to see a good deal of continued success, all things considered.
And corporate apartments come in all shapes and sizes. For instance, a furnished one bedroom apartment is common among people relocating. For many people, nothing more than a furnished one bedroom apartment will be needed, as they are young and likely single. Even for most couples moving for one of their job, a furnished one bedroom apartment will do the job. In some cases, some families can make do with a furnished one bedroom apartment – though for some, something quite a bit bigger than a furnished one bedroom apartment will clearly be necessary. If not a furnished one bedroom apartment, larger apartments are often readily available for whole families that must stay their while finding their permanent housing in the area.
But why should one stay in a furnished one bedroom apartment through a corporate housing company? The answer becomes clear when we take a closer look at the other options. For while some might say that you should stay in a hotel, this is actually less than ideal simply due to the price. Even affordable hotels can quickly become pricey the longer that you stay. On average, in fact, the average daily price for a single hotel room is as high as $120 – and this was data that was collected in the year of 2015. There’s no doubt about the fact that this price has likely increased in the years that have passed us by since. And with people and families utilizing corporate housing services for an average of at least 84 days before finding their more permanent homes, that would be one expensive hotel bill indeed, and not one that most people – or most companies, for that matter – would really be able to cover.
And so the importance of corporate housing is really quite clear, all things considered. Even a furnished one bedroom apartment will be far better than a hotel room stay, in terms of comfort as well as in terms of cost. For many people, the ability to live in one of the short term apartments available throughout the country is something that is quite desirable and ideal indeed, especially when they are in the middle of what might be an otherwise stressful move – especially if they’re moving on short notice.
