Music in Dreams

Musicians almost always have been considered society's dreamers. So it is no great surprise that experiencing music in a dream can be profound, intriguing – sometimes even deeply mystical. The circumstances in which the music occurs can be important.

Are you dancing at a gathering? Perhaps you need more celebration in your life. Cruising and listening to golden oldies? Maybe you need to reconnect with the good feelings and hopeful energy of that time in your life – even if you really would be experiencing it for the first time.

Do you recognize the song or remember the words from the dream? Perhaps the specific words or the emotions conveyed have a direct and timely message for you. Is the melody haunting you? Traditional peoples believe that there are “Power Songs.” If sung regularly, they can help bring peace, abundance and even healing. Perhaps you have been gifted with a special song with which to work.

Some spiritual paths believe that the reality is that the dream ultimately is just vibration. The music of your dreams may be trying to help shift your vibration for the better. Let yourself benefit from the gift!
