Messages From Water: Dr. Emoto & the Effect of Vibrational Energy on Water by Adele EisnerMessages From Water: Dr. Emoto & the Effect of Vibrational Energy on Water by Adele Eisner

Today's transitioning paradigm is shifting from a focus on goals and consumption to an awareness of the far more powerful and subtle consciousness that surrounds human action. However, many still doubt that our beliefs, thoughts and words profoundly affect everything in and around us. Most of us have not experienced enough of the largely unperceived realities of underlying vibrational energies to believe them, or to have sufficient clarity to transform the way we lead our daily lives and use our enormous power to heal the world. Dr. Masuro Emoto refreshingly provides us with clear evidence in his three books and one video about “messages from water.”

Born in Yokahama, Japan in the early 40s, Emoto became a Doctor of Alternative Medicine and opened IHM General Institute, an organization that studies the vibrational effects on wellbeing. After years of concern about humanity's waste and ruin of water, Emoto developed an innovative method to strikingly demonstrate the health of water and ways we can positively affect it. In his video, Messages From Water, he states, “Academically, my study is not based on the natural sciences, but on cultural sciences. How I was able to come up with such a method is a mystery, even to me.”

While visiting the U.S. about 15 years ago, Emoto learned about a vibration measuring machine called a Magnetic Resonance Analyzer which he used to transfer vibrational information onto microclustered water to make HADO or high-vibration water to help heal his patients. Though he had thousands of healing successes, and though many scholars had widely discussed water's ability to retain and pass along vibrational information, many of Emoto's medical colleagues remained unconvinced about his work. Emoto searched for scientific proof of his work's efficacy.

A children's book, The Day that Lightning Chased The Housewife, reminded him that no two snowflakes are alike, and inspired him to freeze water samples to capture their unique vibrational messages. After an initial struggle to perfect the methodology, Emoto and his researchers developed a process to photograph tens of thousands of water samples. They documented the crystal form of natural and tap water from various regions of the world and water under various conditions, including water that had been prayed over, had music played to it and with both positive and negative words spoken and labeled to it. Some samples, like those from industrialized city tap water supplies, consistently showed little to no coherent form. Instead they appeared chaotic, extremely distorted, murky and ugly. Conversely, other samples, such as those from pristine mountain springs, produced beautiful, perfect and highly complex six-sided crystals. Some looked like perfectly cut, highly complicated diamonds or leaf-sprouting mandalas.

Emoto explains, “The hexagonal crystals represent the Life Force of Mother Nature. Therefore, the absence of hexagonal crystals can be seen as a sign that the life force in that area has been compromised energetically.”

How do his researchers conduct these experiments? Methodically, they gather a fresh sample, put a one-milliliter drop onto fifty separate Petri dishes to ascertain that sample's trend and freeze the droplets at -25 degrees centigrade for 3 hours. The crystals are then examined and photographed under a dark-field microscope. The temperature in the microscope room remains at 5 degrees centigrade allowing the frozen water temperature to slowly rise. If present, the crystals appear and expand three-dimensionally from the center outward. Even in the purest samples, usually only a few of the fifty dishes reveal beautiful hexagonal crystals on camera before they completely return to liquid state.

In his video, Dr. Emoto also brilliantly demonstrates the healing power of music. “Music is vibration. If we expose water to music, that its crystal structure changes comes as no surprise,” he states. He later continues, “It's human nature to create music that readjusts the vibrations distorted by history. That's why I'm so certain that music is a form of healing before it is an art.”

Observing photographs of stunning water crystals under the influence of such composers as Mozart and Bach, each crystal uniquely expressing the tone and complexity of the music, demonstrates his point. His photos of water samples held in containers with word labels in various languages taped to them also provide undeniable data about the frequency-power of words. The photos of these samples elicit a visceral feeling. Formless messages arise from such words as “you fool,” “must” and “I hate you.” Elegant, rich forms result from “love,” “let's,” “thank you” and “hope.” Even the names of Adolph Hitler and Mother Theresa taped to sample jars of distilled water produce molecular breakdown in the former, and magnificent form in the latter.

For those who question the power of prayer, especially over food and drink before eating, Emoto's experiment with families verbally and thoughtfully thanking a sample of Tokyo tap water and sending it love leaves little doubt. The ignored control sample remained chaotic; the loved and thanked sample displayed a beautiful crystalline form.

Dr. Emoto's groundbreaking work has encouraged people around the world to construct their own experiments – achieving similar results. One family's comparative sample jars of cooked rice, one sent love for a month, the other hate, resulted in sweet smelling malted rice in the first, a black foul mess in the second.

Water, which comprises 70% of planet earth’s surface as well as our own physical bodies, is the source of all life on this planet. It easily adapts to and reflects its surrounding environments, both physically and molecularly. With Dr. Masuro Emoto's profound findings, and with, as he says, “water using itself as the medium for the message,” we can gain the awareness that it is time for humankind to reflect more deeply into ourselves. Water's message is that we have the ability to powerfully heal and transform our lives and our planet not only through what we do and say, but also by each thought we choose and intention with which we act.
